當天早上,天气一直非常惡劣, 风雨交加,真担心這場比賽從此被延误了。直到時間快接近开跑时,老天似乎很會做人,天气才好轉。當天比賽,有老二/前進/花豹隊三分天下,由其老二/前進隊旗鼓相當,互不相让。由始至終,各路精英拼了吃奶之力,就为了获分一杯羹。结果有人大开眼界,有人跌破眼鏡,有人半途失马,也有人從中追击,有的默默耕耘,有的半途放弁。預测中的狠腳色都一一進入前十名,唯独一兩名黑馬失準,沒有出綫。前進隊沉靜了好多年,今年東山再起,召集了各路英雄/英雌,再次出击。可是09年第一击,就被老二隊击沉了,男子組&女子组双双败北,坐亜望冠。其實冠軍原本屬于前進隊,可是幸运之神似乎不在他隊,其一名隊員在最後半公里却跑错路程,跟冠軍擦肩而过,把本來快到口的蛋糕轉接至老二手上。老二隊成功的接过連續第三年的冠軍保座。老二隊有老二五子压陣,冠軍是一定的啦! 哈! 爽! (花豹隊也不弱人後,有兩名大將跑入十強,得了季軍)

當日清晨天空下着毛毛雨,雾氣蛮重,但这并不影响选手们征服升旗山的决心。相反的,吸引约千多位选手參赛,当中不乏老外 (Luckily no Kenyan)。
本队在這届比賽再次大唱丰收,总共取得16个奖项,包括三个組別冠軍。

3连霸霸主陳囯兴史上最快,以44分31秒成績,破了大會记录。

本队女將庄丽琴9次參赛皆夺冠,放眼來年10連冠。

本队队長陳來春取得兩連冠。

小弟我(杨坚文)本身也不赖,進入前三甲。不是我在臭屁,這是实事。

This year we can see 5 out of 12 participants were new faces represented O2 team at this event. As last year, this year our team fought shoulder to shoulder against our competitor BM Leopard from the 1st runner till the 9th runner. But finally we lost to them, I would like to say.....conclusively it was just not ours day. Anyway, it was quite an exciting race, fascinating landscapes and beachfront along the race route.
