PAC CENDANA HIKATHON 2010

A total of 700 hikers completed in the race. The stating point of the hikathon was at the Penang Municipal Youth Park and ended at Archery centre of Penang Municipal Youth Park. The distance of the route was approximately 6 KM. The time limit for this event was 2 hours and 30 minutes.
O2 team almost a sweeping victory in the race. We took the men's open, men's open senior, men veteran & women's open titles.

All the trophy grab by our team mates. The one with the extraordinary shape & colour is "challenge trophy". Awarded to the winner who won on three consecutive years men open champions, who else ~ Tan Kok Hin. *And the smallest one own by Ah Lai.

环島接力比赛上周日在风和日丽,一片喧哗声中圓滿結朿。本年度共有14个隊伍參加,分別有7隊公开組与7隊宿將組。

今年公开組冠軍隊还是如预计中的 Ah Choon Runner 隊勝出,從开頭到終一至持续保持領先的勢头,大唱獨脚戏。

亞軍隊 BM Leapard, 今年披上橙色外皮的花豹隊,換掉昔日的粉紅外衣,一改形相。为了爭取一票出綫的機會,強势出击,獨領风骚。

尽管其他隊伍都响应首相的〝一个马來西亜〞理念,华巫印一屋檐下,老二隊还是保持前中囯囯家主席毛泽東思想,坚持〝一个中囯〞。1oo%华人隊伍。今年老二(O2 Hiker) /前进 (Forward) /少年体育學校(MSN) 三隊势力旗鼓相當,從开始第一棒到第六棒就被原本不被看好的 MSN 与前进队领先在前方。從一开始被抛在後頭的老二队步步為营,從中追击,至到第七棒才渐露暑光,队友小廸追平 MSN,也把与前进队的差距拉近。第八棒队友“少年阿虎”有了去年的經验,今年更勝住年,比去年進步34秒,一至紧咬不放前方的前進队,終於在这一回合超越对方。可是好景不持久,第九棒又被 MSN 迎頭追上,对方速度非常之快。當时老二队又被排出了3強之外,至到第11棒,队友“疯马”才扭轉乾坤,從落後对手1分36秒從後趕上,超越对手,再度回到季軍堡座。

★老二队前队長骆老今年应傷遭“禁赛”,因此本场比賽无緣指揮,全程只能坐上Lori 觀赛。
